My Timings

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did you create My Timings?

I got an Instant Pot Duo Plus years ago and use it a lot for simple foods like green beans, rice, and steel-cut oats. I tracked my timings—often based on testing from Amy & Jacky Pressure Cook Recipes—but as the list grew, editing recipes got cumbersome. I wanted something easier and more visual than a plain text note, so I decided to build a dedicated app.

It started as a simple timing tracker, but most people use their pressure cooker for full recipes. Those are more complex with multiple ingredients, prep steps, and cook phases. So a year later the app supports sauté, deglaze, and multiple pressure cook steps.

Most people don’t want to enter all that manually, so I added importing from text blocks, website URLs, or the browser share button.

Does My Timings work with Instant Pot recipes?

Yes. My Timings can save the pressure level, cook time, release method, keep-warm notes, ingredients, and steps from recipes written for Instant Pot and similar electric pressure cookers.

Do you offer a free trial?

No, unfortunately Apple doesn’t support free trials for paid apps. However, the My Timings App Store listing (with video and screenshots) should give you a solid sense of what the app offers. And if you buy the app and it’s not the right fit, Apple typically honors refund requests made soon after purchase.

Feeling adventurous? You can try the full app through the beta version on TestFlight ↗. While you may encounter some bugs, you’ll get the complete product experience—great way to try before you buy!

Why don’t you offer a free, ad-supported version?

Personally, I can’t stand ads—they’re distracting and take up valuable real estate, which is especially frustrating in mobile apps. I do realize people like to try before they buy, and if the App Store supported time-limited trials, I’d offer that. But since that’s not an option and I don’t want to support the ad industry, I decided to give it a fair, one-time price. If you’re on the fence, Apple usually allows refunds within a short period.

Does My Timings ever go on sale?

No, not even on Black Friday. I believe in fair, straightforward pricing where everyone pays the same, no matter when they buy. No waiting for sales, no buyer’s remorse if you just missed one. Just buy My Timings when you need it, knowing you’re getting the same deal as everyone else.

Is My Timings affiliated with Instant Pot?

No. My Timings is an independent app by Enbright LLC and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Instant Brands LLC or the owners of the Instant Pot trademark.
